In  recent years there has been a marked shift in emphasis towards predictive and preventative maintenance, rather than reactive repair, of electrical, fire and security systems. In response to this, a testing facility was instigated in July 2006.

The principle of preventative maintenance is simple: a small repair today can save a much larger, more costly and far less convenient repair tomorrow. All of our services are designed to minimise disruption to the Client’s business and tests are undertaken with plant in operational mode.

Thermal imaging and ultrasonic testing form the corner stone of our preventative maintenance programmes for electrical systems. Since the introduction of the IEE 17th Edition, planned preventative maintenance can be included to meet BS7671:2008.

We are able to tailor individual solutions from our full range of test programmes and can cover any type of organisation or facility. Whether the building is public, commercial or industrial, the testing regime allows the Client to reduce the risk of expensive operation failure regardless of the building usage.
