Frederick Thomas Building Services Limited was formed in 1987 to provide each
client with cost effective solutions for design and installation of mechanical building services.
By employing teams of skilled engineers with a high degree of technical ability,
the Company provides innovative designs and installations. Thus, by selection of
the latest proven technology, a guarantee of quality is given which is backed up
with total contract management and tight financial control.
MECHANICAL SERVICES DESIGN & BUILD
Frederick Thomas Building Services Limited recognises the increasing demand on
Building Services Contractors to provide a composite design and build service
using modern technology.
We have at our disposal AutoCAD technology, trained engineers and CAD operators.
Our Mechanical Services Designers use the CYMAP suite of
programmes together with AMTECH PRO DESIGN and the current edition of AutoCAD.
The design requirements can be quickly assessed in accordance with the
recommendations of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers
(CIBSE).
The continuous updating of software ensures that Frederick Thomas provides a
total design package in line with the latest requirements and is able to handle
large volumes of work with a high degree of efficiency
All drawings are produced “in house” producing a fully coordinated package.
Electrical Services are also designed and installed in conjunction with our
sister company Frederick Thomas Electrical & Maintenance Ltd.
QUALITY IN CONTRACTING
Frederick Thomas Building Services Limited provides management and contract
control from design to completion, following an internal audit system to monitor
performance and cost control. These systems are aimed at providing the customer
with a systematic review for each stage of any contract and enable Frederick
Thomas Building Services Limited to provide a controlled handover, meeting the
Clients requirements and programmes.
The design and installation management is carried out by project design teams
led by a senior engineer, comprising of both electrical and mechanical design
and contract engineers and supported by assistant engineers, CAD operators and
administration staff.

ventilating Contractors' Association. (HVCA)
